Well Fionn got a wig that i like for now,so i made Twila and Fionn new dresses. I think this is the first time I've actually 100$ completed an outfit for one of my own dolls. I usually get lazy and don't put in snaps. but I did on these all 8 of them. -_- it was irritating.

Yesterday I made Fionn a proper dress, and tho she is still wigless, I took some pictures of them today using my friends professional equipment. They still kind of suck, but hey, at least I tried.
I order her two different wigs in two different shades of blue, I don't know, she also looks so pretty with the lavender backdrop. hummmm.

I felt like making something but wanted to make something simple, so I cannibalized a pair of sanrio socks i had and made matching dresses for Juliette and Rosalie (when i get her haha). what do you guys think of the dress? I have two more pairs just like this cept baby blue with hello kitty and purple with chococat.
anyways, i have tons of cute socks i dont wear, any more cute projects to make with socks that dont look like total crap?

I did more swapping around of parts, Ina(Juliette.) got new eyes. When i put the purple and green in there in the first place it was ment to be temp but then it grew on me and i left it. Today i tried switching them out. I think it look good but I don't think it's perm. either.

Also, when i named her Inazuma it was meant to be a temp nick name till i figured out her really name, and now that I have committed myself to to it I mean to use it because it really is her.

After much thinking on my creative doll blockage i finally sat down and gave all of my dolls (current and planned) full names. before they mostly only had first names. I'm going to jot them down here more for my refrance than anything.

So my being sick totally made me fail at trying to do 30 days of pictures. I'll start over shortly when im a little more settled as i just moved into my new place this weekend. Things are in turmoil at the moment but in two weeks or so everything will level out and be ok!

But on that note, I've decided that Orion, my MNF El, simply isn't who i wanted him to be and im not bonding with him at all despite my adoration for his mold. SO im going to try and change his character. I don't want to sell him. I adore the Els, always have. I just need to figure out who this guy is, and instead of fighting him, i should just go with what he wants and is. I thinking perhaps hes a young wanna-be model. Trying to make it ya know. Because hes got so much attitude and man sex. Might be Ina's boyfriend I dunno. Either way. He would be a human member so the cast. Not a fairy like the others. I dunno I'm having major creative block lately. I can't draw or flesh out anything. It totally sucks. I can't sew either. Everything is just at a stand still creatively for me and i don't know how to get ti flowing again. >>sigh<<
Is this normal with dolls? to pick the wrong mold for the character and totally not bond with it? I really don't want to sell him. I really really don't, but I don't know if he's the doll for me anymore.
But the point is while I was messing around with the idea of what to do with him I had a terrible thought...

But, I wanted to show the new house the kids got. I inherited this funky wardrobe thing when i moved in, so i took the door off and the shelves made perfect little rooms. I'm going to try and find some cool wrapping paper to make wallpaper with soon lol.

I finally received everything to make orion whole! Ok almost everything. I still think he needs sime sire frame glasses and a less emo boy face up. Also, I bought the wrong sized doll elastic >< so hes strung with normal elastic, aka hes SUPER floppy, until i can make the hour+plus trek to Joanne's on one of the my few days off. But there is a meet up this weekend i want to take him damnit. his old elastic was dangerously tight, so i figure really floppy is better than wicked 'omg it's gunna break' tight. Anyways, the kids had a picnic to celebrate! Gotta ship off the money for in a tomorrow, or tonight, depending on when i get paid. and then she'll be home, and my James McAvoy Minimee head just arrived at Erics and should be on the way to me soon. Two weeks or so imma buy him a boy and get started on him.

Orion arrived last week! In dollie related news, I got my Shushu from Shandi the other day, and i did her face up today.
Now bear in mind its my second face up ever, and i went way over board with the face blushing. But I'm still pretty proud of it. I'll probably redo sometime in feb when i can get some help, or just pass it off to someone else to do it for me hahaha.
I'm so in love with her though, compared to Rosalie, wow! the quality difference it really staggering. I'm gunna replace Rosalie ASAP. I'm leaning towards a Woosoo or a lishe honestly. It was SOOO much fun yesterday getting to sell ALL my dollie friends in one place. Everyone was there and we all had such a great time! I got to meet Mel mel Chan in person finally. Got to see Onna too! Shes awesome! And lots of other people too! I really really enjjoyed the whole thing. Took some good pictures of the girls outside, spoiled rosalie rotten. (she got two pairs of jeans, 2 new tops and a pair of thigh high) I also bought a pattern book and the Volk 10th anniversary Phone strap!

I've been snooping around, silently plotting my next doll (this one I am in zero rush to get) I know I said I wanted a puki, but I think I'm going to hold off. I have a good story for getting one but its a while down the road.

The boy would probally be Rosalie older love intrest. He is steady and quiet. Wise and strong. He loves Rosalie, but knows that she is young, and wild, and wants to be free. But he wants to protect her, and love her and cherish her, but not untill she is ready to leave behind the open feilds, and settle down in a pasture of her own. Wild horses made the best wifes after all. As Rosalie is 18-20 (I'm still trying to figure tis one out) he would be 25-30ish, and honestly I might keep his name Apollo (those of you who know me, know that was one of the names I had chosen for my son, Orion Apollo)
Maybe I'm cheap, but I can't can't being myself to pay more that 300 for a doll. Or maybe, It's just i can't find a mold I'm THAT much in love with to pay tat much. I don't care about full sets, I like the individuality of dolls, I really don't want my dolls to look excatly like everyone elses.
I'm in no rush, just sort of thinking out load at this point.
At the meet up in San An this weekend I got to see Rosalie with a lot at 60cm boys and I liked the size diffrance. I've always wished i was shorter than my boyfriend, tall men make me feel feminine and delicate. Things I don't get a feel very offten (hence my love for wearing lolita I sappouse) and since it seems, that each doll I have is a diffenct aspect of my inner self, I think a tall boy for Rosalie would be great.
I've also been thinking about this, and I'm sharing it with my Flist becuase It's kind of... embarrsing. Anyways, I was thinking of buying te puki later down the line as either Rosalie or the other girl i plan to get's Child. I know people have dolls that are other dolls children, BUt I was wonder.. as anyone actully build a 'belly' and done the whole 'my doll is preg' thing? is that weird? I have ahuge respect and love for the power and divinity of a womans power to carry life, and I don't know if it would be frowed upon to bring this aspect into the doll world.
I sappouse in the end their my dolls I should do what makes -ME- happy first, as this is my biggest motto in my life.  but I just wanted to know what other people thought.
Anyways, I guess thats it for my thoughts ATM.
